Studio38 is for over 30s who love a proper dance. Most people come with friends: birthdays, hen dos, Christmas catch-ups, or the “we should go out” that finally happened. Plenty come with a partner, and plenty come on their own and have a brilliant time. Around 60% of the crowd are women.

Ages range from 30s who love their 90s tunes to 50s and beyond who grew up on the 80s. Lots of people haven’t been clubbing for years, so you won’t be the only one.

Everyone is there for the music. It’s a club for dancing and singing along to songs you know every word to, not a place to be seen or to pick someone up. If you love 80s and 90s music, you’ll fit in.

A few things we’re not a good fit for: stag parties, and anyone under 30. We keep the room full of people who came for the same reason you did.

There's no strict dress code, but no football related stuff please! If you can dance in it, you can wear it. Feel free to dress as 80s or 90s as you want btw.

Guests must be 30+ years old. We don't check ID on the door and can be a little flexible if someone under 30 is with a group of 30+ people. But no younger groups at all. 

Think of a proper nightclub, just in the afternoon. It’s a real club with a real sound system and DJs playing full tracks: the 80s and 90s tunes you know every word to. There are no stages, no dancers and no nonsense, just a dance floor, a bar and a room full of over 30s who came for the music.

Doors open at 3pm, and most venues are busy by 4. Dance as long as you like until 8pm. Your hand stamp means you can pop out and come back, and then you’re home by 9. Come with friends, with a partner or on your own. Plenty of people haven’t been clubbing for years, so you won’t be the only one.

We don't reserve tables because it's too difficult to police all evening! If you want a table, best to get there early ... like 3pm. The place will be full by 4pm!

Yes. There are plenty of alternative clubs and venues that play 70's and other stuff. 

Yes, groups are a big part of what we do: birthdays, hen dos, Christmas catch-ups and “we should go out” plans that finally happened. At most events, groups of 4 or more get a discounted ticket price, and you’ll see the option on the ticket page.

Each person needs their own ticket, but you can book them all in one order. We recommend in 1 order in case tickets sell out in the meantime. On the day, you can arrive together with all the tickets on one phone, or send each person their own ticket. Either way works.

We don’t reserve tables, so if you’d like one, get there early (3pm is best).

Groups should be over 30. We’re not a good fit for stag parties or younger groups.

The exact service depends on the club. However, we do our best to make sure that a cloakroom is available at all venues. 

All our events are 3-8pm. That's why we are called Studio38! Last entry is 7pm but once you're 'stamped' you can come and go as you please between 3-8pm. 

Our events are public parties in public venues. We take videos and pictures at live events and use a small percentage of them to showcase and promote our events on social media and on our website. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you agree to being filmed and photographed. Images and footage may be used by Studio38.Club for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and advertising.

At Studio38, we are committed to making our events as inclusive as possible while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business. To remain fair to all our guests while keeping our events sustainable, we offer the following support based on venue capacity and accessibility:

Essential Companion Tickets: Wherever feasible, we offer a limited number of complimentary tickets for a registered carer or companion when a full-price ticket is purchased by a guest who requires essential assistance to attend.

Community Partnerships: Dependent on venue capacity, we provide a set allocation of tickets to our charity partners (including 'Tickets For Good') to support NHS, Fire Brigade, and other essential services workers.

Individual Requests: To remain fair to all our guests, we are unable to offer further individual discounts or free entry based on benefit status (such as PIP) outside of our Companion scheme.
